Where is Satan?

Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

wiles=μεθοδεία methodeia=cunning arts, deceit, craft, trickery

the devil=this is who this is talking about

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

high places=ἐπουράνιος epouranios-existing in heaven

the fight is against the deceit of the devil, who is in heaven

Revelation 12 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

this is where the dragon is, "in heaven", so who is the dragon?

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

self explanatory who this dragon is = serpent, Devil, Satan

popular culture etc., teaches that satan has horns and a pitchfork, and resides in a seperate place. We can clearly see from a small piece of scripture that this is simply not the case. The devil, satan, serpent, dragon, resides in heaven, awaiting the moment when he and his angels will be cast out.
