In this brief post let us outline that there was more than just rain occuring during the flood of Noah. We will compare the parting of the waters of the time of Moses with one simple phrase during the flood of Noah. By comparing one hebrew word: בָּקַע baqa, between the two events, it clearly gives us a better look into what may have been taking place along with the rain.

Exodus 14
